Letter to Voters

Dear Friends:

The citizens of Carteret, Craven and Pamlico Counties are at a crossroads.  This is the time we must stand up for the principles that made us strong. 

The line has been blurred between right and wrong, conservative and liberal. Special interests have made a play for the very heart and soul of our communities.  The principles of lower taxes, less government and more individual liberties have become little more than catchy slogans, thrown out by political pitch-men who hope to buy votes and later sell influence.

During my tenure in the NC House of Representatives, I fought each day to uphold sound conservative principles and I plan on carrying that same mantle of freedom to the North Carolina Senate, always mindful that I was elected to represent the citizens, not special interests.

I ask for your vote, your support and your prayers as I continue to strive toward a government more representative of the visions of our Founding Fathers: Of the People, By the People and For the People.
